Bangalore: Present, Past and Future

Overview of the project:

Bangalore the capital city of Karnataka  is home of  many well-known educational  institutions, IT  companies  and Public sector companies. It is  also referred as “Silicon Valley” of India. But  only few people know that Bangalore was  once called  as “Garden City” of India. Known for  its lush green  vegetation. But the present scenario is completely changed. Pollution problem, concrete buildings are more seen and  the lush greenery is  fading  gradually. In this project    a comparative study is done  how  the past, present and future Bangalore will be,  in case  we don’t conserve its greenery.This project  also helps  to understand  the historical background of the city, climatic  conditions and its location.

1.   Understand the geographical location, climatic conditions and vegetation of Bangalore
2.   Analyze the causes for the growing developmental activities in Bangalore city.
3.   Understand the historical background of the city.
4.   Call for action to stop depleting the resources and conserving the present resource.
